SEX AFTER VASECTOMY: EJACULATION – what happens to the sperm
After a vasectomy, ejaculation does not change – you still ejaculate, your semen has the same smell, colour and consistency – it just contains no sperm. To the naked eye there is no difference at all.
In patients who have had a vasectomy, sperm are still produced, but since the route to the penis has been cut, they escape into the scrotum and are absorbed by the body, just like other unneeded or dead cells.
